Procedure Details
This combined procedure may be considered when both breast droop and loss of volume are concerns. It combines reshaping and lifting the breast with an implant selected to provide the planned volume and proportion.
A mastopexy reshapes and lifts the breast while an implant is placed to add volume. Because the operation combines two procedures, careful planning of implant size, tissue quality and scar pattern is particularly important.
Follow up
Wound/dressing review at 7-10 days; surgeon review at around 4-8 weeks.
