Procedure Details

Breast asymmetry is common, but more marked differences may affect clothing, comfort or confidence. Treatment is highly individual and may involve augmentation, reduction, lifting, fat transfer or a combination of techniques.

The surgical plan depends on the cause and degree of asymmetry. Different operations may be performed on each breast, such as reduction on one side and augmentation or lifting on the other.

Follow up

Wound/dressing review at 7-10 days; surgeon review at around 4-8 weeks.
