Procedure Details
A breast lift may be considered when breasts have descended following pregnancy, weight change, ageing or natural variation. The aim is to reshape and reposition existing breast tissue rather than primarily increase breast volume.
Excess skin is removed and breast tissue is reshaped to create a higher breast position. The nipple and areola are repositioned as part of the planned lift. Scar pattern depends on the amount of correction required.
Follow up
Wound/dressing review at around 1 week; surgeon review at around 2–3 weeks
