Procedure Details
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure designed to reshape or reduce the labia minora, helping to improve comfort, symmetry and appearance where excess or uneven tissue is causing concern.
Labiaplasty is usually performed under local anaesthetic, with or without sedation, or under general anaesthetic depending on the individual treatment plan. During the procedure, excess labial tissue is carefully removed and reshaped to create a more balanced and natural appearance while preserving normal function and sensation as far as possible. Dissolvable sutures are typically used, and most patients can return home the same day. Swelling, bruising and tenderness are common during the early recovery period, with strenuous activity and sexual intercourse usually avoided for several weeks while healing takes place.
Follow up
