Procedure Details

A surgical lip lift may be considered when the upper lip appears long or there is limited visible upper-lip vermilion. It changes lip position rather than simply adding volume.

A small strip of skin is removed beneath the nose and the upper lip is lifted before careful closure, leaving a scar at the base of the nose.
